This is a FREE training! PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED! Join WindWindRI & KidWind and learn how to explore the power of wind energy with your students.

Come to this workshop to learn about the science and technology around renewable energy! In this workshop you will review energy and electricity basics, design and test blades, explore related energy education resources, and preview ready-to-use renewable energy curriculum.

What Can You Expect?

• No prior experience is required
• Teachers will get a free wind turbine kit and a stipend or we pay your school system for your substitute!
• Coffee & lunch provided

PLEASE NOTE: Teachers who attend AND sign up student team(s) for the 2025 RI Wind Turbine Competition receive a voucher to order equipment.
